Tai Chi in Nature: Amalithia & White Crane Martial Arts
Saturday 23rd May 10:30 - 13:30
Wild Heart Hill, Findon, West Sussex
Reconnect, move, and breathe in the heart of nature.
Amalithia and White Crane Martial Arts invite you to join us for a mindful open-air Tai Chi experience at Wild Heart Hill, Findon, West Sussex - a peaceful space in nature surrounded by wild foliage, with a tranquil woodland backdrop.

Guided by Shafi from White Crane Martial Arts, you'll be introduced to the gentle art of Tai Chi through two flowing practice sessions, followed by a relaxing mediation session to close. With short breaks between each session, there's time to pause, take in the natural surroundings, and reconnect with the calm rhythm of the landscape.
The event unfolds in three mindful parts:
1. Learning Tai Chi Foundations - gentle guidance to introduce or refine your practice.
2. Flow Practice - moving through Tai Chi sequences to cultivate balance, presence, and connection.
3. Relaxing meditation - a peaceful close to help you rest, reflect, and return to stillness.
This open-air collaboration at this very special location in Sussex offers a space to reconnect with nature, slow down, and experience harmony between movement, breath, and the natural world.

Midsummer Exhale: Restorative Movement & Meditation Mini-Retreat
Sunday 12th July 10:00 - 13:00
Let's Retreat, Angmering, West Sussex
Imagine three hours just for you - to move, breathe, rest, and reset.
Amalithia and Ruth from Zephyrose invite you to the beautiful Let's Retreat yurts for a restorative mini retreat. Ruth will guide you through mindful sessions of gentle yoga, breathwork, and meditation to help you slow down, release stress, and reconnect with your inner calm.

We are all living in a world where we’re required to be permanently switched on, stressed out, exhausted, and fearful of literally everything. No wonder our nervous systems are stuck in fight and flight, feeling scared, unsafe, wired, exhausted, wanting to fight and run away from everything and just hide under our duvets. Somatics gets you in touch with your nervous system, and supports you to gently find ways to let go of some of the intense gripping.
Our nervous systems aren’t designed to stay permanently switched on, its designed to run away from tigers. Ruth will support you to release the tension gently, slowly, and give you tools to do that in daily life. This means you won’t permanently be running on adrenaline and cortisol. It’ll allow other hormones to come back online. In doing so, you’ll have greater awareness of what’s going on for you and can choose how best to support you. You’ll sleep better, eat better, take care of yourself better, understand and hold your own boundaries, and then you’ll have more capacity to support others.

Ruth has been teaching yoga since 2020, and practicing yoga since 2005. She discovered how beneficial yoga and meditation were for letting go of tension, creating a bit of space, and finding the courage to live the life she chooses rather than what society, the world, family told her to. In learning more about the nervous system, somatics, the glandular system and how yoga really supports all of these to allow each person to become safely connected to themselves, to let go of stress, reset from the craziness of the world, and find your own inner truth. Ruth is studying to be a somatic coach, bringing together body movement, meditation with coaching to support you to find your own inner wisdom and way forward.
