Inspired by the landscapes I know and love, my first collection of artwork is a celebration of the trees and woodlands of Sussex - from favourite woodland walks to the individual trees that have caught my eye along the way. 

Working in chalk and charcoal, I explore the interplay of light and shadow, texture and atmosphere, creating evocative studies of the Sussex landscape in all its quiet beauty.

This collection will form my first exhibition, Light & Shadow: Studies in Chalk & Charcoal later this year, bringing together a series of atmospheric treescapes inspired by both East and West Sussex.
